Tishya is a surface pattern designer currently based in London. She has a degree in fashion design but in recent years she’s been focusing on designing prints and patterns for textiles, home decor and stationery.
She finds her inspiration through artworks and greenery from the museums and gardens she frequently visits in London and globally.
She usually starts out her design process by visiting some of her favourite places for inspiration such as the V&A, Kew Gardens and the William Morris Gallery. Mostly she starts with sketching and painting before turning art into repeating patterns but she also works digitally.
When she is not designing, Tishya she likes to travel, cook, eat, and dance.
